Android 17 from Dragon Ball Super Join Dragon Ball Fighterz As a Playable Character; New Stage Coming via Free Update
The latest issue of V-Jump has revealed that Android 17, with his Dragon Ball Super outfit, will be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ as a playable character. While Android 17 was already present in the game as part of Android 18’s moveset, this time around the android will be playable as a standalone character with his own unique moveset. He will be available late September for $4.99 / 500 yen. His moveset consists of “Barrier Explosion”, which activates a barrier around his body before charging forward. This move can be also be used in the air. He also has “End Game” in which he goes around behind the enemy and continuously attacks. Lastly, there’s his Meteor Attack called “Super Electric Strike”in which charges energy swirls that builds up in his hands, then fires it off. He can also activate this move while in the air.
Additionally, the game will receive a new stage called “Space Arena” which will be available as a free update at the same time as the DBS Android 17 DLC when it released in late September. It will be available on all three current platforms while it will be available on the Switch version at a much later date. Check out the scan below:
