Weekly Shonen Jump’s Oda X Kishimoto Interview On How They Met

Weekly Shonen Jump magazine interviewed both Eiichiro Oda (creator of One Piece) and Masashi Kishimoto (creator of Naruto) and asked them both how they met each other and they took the conversation from there.

Kishimoto has always looked up to Oda and his work and he even called him “Oda Sensei” and Oda said to “Never say that again!”. Oda loved having the opportunity to compete with the Naruto series which gave him the drive to outperform.

The full interview will be included in the official Naruto Guidebook “Michi Road” which contains a 13 page interview with Kishimoto and Oda.
